9 years ago today, R&B’s rising star Aaliyah was taken from this world. The airwaves and television were buzzing with this tragedy.
For me, Aaliyah’s music was relatable on many accounts. She sang to me. Her lyrics read a story. Quite often, I listen to her music for solace and comfort.

So i was out with some friends for dinner @ Cafeteria on 17/th & 7th and around 1am Ice T, Coco, and a female friend roll in. As soon as i spot them im thinking about steppin up and giving him some props.

And so, the Old Spice videos have come to an end. I loved the following RWW Article summarizing how these videos were made. A huge pat on the back to P&G for taking this leap and allowing stories to be shared with real time responses.

The social media guys and script writers are collaborating to make that call in real time. We have people shooting and we’re editing it as it happens. Then the social media guys are looking at how to get that back out around the web…in real time.”
