Meet my friend.
Ever since I was a wee one, I managed to surround myself with pretty amazing people. This has followed me into my adult life. I am extremely grateful, thankful and driven by the people I call friends. It dawned on me that a lot of my friends are creators. They build, develop, bake, style, help…the list goes on for a living. In this series, I would like to recognize those that have brought nothing but inspiration and joy into my life.
First up.
Laura Mar
I met Laura not too long ago but knew that I would be connected to her for a very long time. Besides sharing a birthday (exact month and date), it was her energy, drive and passion that drew me in.
Her passion? Food
Laura is a holistic nutritionist and an amazing chef. Everything she cooks or bakes is made with love. You can taste the love. I don’t know many people who can make rice krispie squares taste gourmet. Laura can.
She loves to bake pastries and cookies. It’s her way to share her passion with loved ones.
A few months back, I was introduced to her Caramel Apple Pie cookie. I know. Apple pie. The cookie itself has pie crust, amazing local apple chips and her own version of caramel goodness. Words cannot describe how amazing this cookie is. I want to see her cookies one day at Whole Foods because they are that good. It’s always a great feeling seeing your friends do what they love.
I wanted to give a personal shout out to Laura because she’s the sweetest girl who bakes the sweetest cookies. Smart cookie.
You can follow Laura’s blog where she shares some yummy goodness here.
