Day 1 of Wildrose Cleanse
I promised myself on December 31st that before this month ended I would do the Wildrose Cleanse again and get back to the gym. Well, it’s January 10th and I’m fulfilling the first part of this commitment to myself.
I am on day 1 of this 12 day journey. I expect to come out quite refreshed and more energized, I know…scary. The cleanse itself is 12 days however I plan to follow the diet for 30 days. Yup, that means no bread, no booze or refined carbs.
I have done this cleanse before and I believe the best way to succeed is to plan out your meals well in advance. With that being said, I will share with you my progress.
Here are some pictures from Day 1.
Breakfast - Oatmeal sprinkled with cinnamon.

Consuming my 2 cups of coffee allowed for the day in one seating with soy milk.

Dinner - Steamed Broccoli, Baked Potato seasoned with herbs and baked chicken breast seasoned with herbs.

Snack - Air popped popcorn with some butter and pepper.

What I am missing here are the berries and nuts I had with me while I was on a spa date with my girlfriends. That is another thing I recommend, always have almonds, berries and carrots on you. This will help you ward off temptation.
